At Synergy, I have three televisions above the treadmills.  I have one set to 24/7 news, one to NBC, and one to a home improvement channel. 

Each morning, the NBC news station has a segment called “Wake up to Something Good.”  The segment is usually a feel-good story to start the day. I always enjoy catching it if I can because the segment makes me smile, and it is nice to see something good on the news for a change.  

As I watched it the other day, I began to think about how we should each challenge ourselves to wake up to something good each morning.  Waking up to something good may just be our first thought of the day, a positive one that brings a smile to our face instead of negative thoughts about the day ahead.
