Last week was my birthday. How did I celebrate it?
I worked out with my morning small group classes and spent the rest of the day doing nothing.
Every year on my birthday, I work out first thing in the morning, no matter what day of the week it falls on. I do this each year to celebrate what my body can do on my day of birth. I think it’s a way to celebrate me and a great way to set the intention for the new year I am beginning.
I feel we don’t celebrate ourselves enough. We often want others to celebrate us, but if they don’t, we feel bad because we are not celebrated.
Why wait on others to celebrate us?
I challenge each of us to stop waiting on others to celebrate us. Celebrate ourselves for what we are capable of, what we have achieved, the person we are, and whatever else you would like to celebrate about yourself.
Time for a Celebration!!
