I am in the process of moving my personal training and small group training business to a new location. On Friday, I reminded my small group training clients that we would be in the new location on Monday. One of my clients asked if I was sure it would all be ready on Monday.
I answered, “It is already done; I just have to put in the work.”
What did I mean by my answer to the questions?
I was implying that the decision was already made to get it done, and not getting it done was not an option. I just had to put in the work and overcome any obstacles that may arise during the process. With that mindset, the goal would be accomplished, and we would be starting small group training on Monday morning because I was going to put in the work over the weekend.
I challenge each of us when setting goals to already see that goal achieved. You already know how reaching the goal feels, looks, and affects you. When we see that goal as already done, nothing will stop the goal from being accomplished. The only thing left between us at that moment and the goal being achieved is working through the process to achieve the goal.
Your goal is already accomplished; now go to the work to make it happen.

Aaron
